Create your character: choose your guild — Arcane Veil, Lunarmage, Iron Oath, or Dragonwatch — then pick male or female, choose Elf, Human, Dwarf, or Halfling, roll a fresh age every run, choose hair and facial hair (elves are beardless, dwarves wear long beards, halflings have hairy feet), and give your hero their own first name — or roll one.

Under the two moons Yavus and Ketana, you will learn spells, shop for weapons, armor and magical items, choose a companion — knight, healer, or rogue — and face the creatures of Esmeria: wolves, banshees, vampires, zombies, wraiths and more. And if you fall in battle, Cinder may raise you... at a price. Die too often, and the bond breaks for real.
